Hi everyone, Been very busy. Doors closing and windows opening. Employer and physical location have changed. I had such a wonderful experience giving my own goodbye speech. Thanks to everyone at Emerchants that made working there so fuffilling and fun. Have enjoyed saying good bye to several people in Australia, including a wonderful fish dinner complete with discussion regarding children conditioning their parents with verbal triggers, the nature and definition of live and living. (See announcement of synthetic life here and the line between life and non file here by Martin Hanczyc, also  see Theo Jansen’s Synthetic Creatures here , also see the Chinese Room Thought Experiment). Hi everyone, The question of how one is , is in itself self an interesting question. Does it or any question have an answer ? Is an answer the answer ? And what of truth ? is it the true answer ? Unicorns are unicorn despite their colour. Time appears to be progressing, like rain that never stops dripping and dripping, until everything around it is either eroded into nothingness or becomes one with the flow of the rain ebbing, flowing and pooling admist the obstacles of circumstance. Otherwise all that is needed is a few additional spare parts and to setup the SAN box on the Dell Poweredge 2500 rather than the Poweredge 6400 (which must be vampiric or emo, or both and a twilight fandell as it likes to cut me and not find disks. Our magnificent effort was in spite of the lack of internet and the rain . (prorata makes me rage, […]

Hi everyone, Ivanhoe (My NAS) is finally getting its USB ports repaired and Ulrica (my laptop) has had its power circuity repaired and is getting the fan replaced (hopefully). It isn’t raining here, but I almost wish it would. I have been watching communitychannel for a while now, and I dare attribute my desire to video blog to seeing her work and having so many potential readers make up excuses based on their laziness and my post’s longevity. Anyhow, she asked an interesting question about whether I would let anyone stand under my umbrella, which really made me think. Because most of the large umbrellas I get my hands on […]

Hi, Its study week , the week dedicated to the cohesive repetition of techniques and methodologies that allow the recollection and presentation of fluid information or application of knowledge to take form in items of assessment. The weather is wonderful. The cold keeps me cool, the rain keeps me wet, but not wet enough. The code keeps me focused, Gradually habits get influenced or broken, solutions to problems arise and more challenges face us as we live. Several interesting discussions have occurred lately including the discussion about humanity’s stupidity being infinite (lets just say I disagree with Einstein and have a logical basis for doing so), the discussion about the […]
